Instech...a remarkable success


Originally, Instech was a modest company founded in 1994 employing 15 employees to which MG Cable and its few employees joined Instech. Our services were limited to standard cable distribution products.  

 

With the arrival of IP telephone service, Videotron experienced a phenomenal growth all the while depending on us for our services. We have been able to maintain the same rhythm and grow at the same pace as our customer; Videotron. It is with extreme pride that we have become Videotron's most important authorized installation service provider.

INSTECH TRAINING PROGRAM


 

 

Instech training center has been created to raise the level of excellence of our new recruits to that required from all our employees. We have equipped our training center with a live network environment and its components used by a technician on the job. We simulate the different situations a technician can encounter on a daily basis. Our company is unique and we have created and evolved this technical program to respond to Instech reality.

 

Our training program, which is comprised of both a theoretical and practical segment, lasts for a period of 6 weeks.   After which, to ensure continuity and to perfect the application of newly acquired techniques the technician is matched (accompanied) with an experienced technician for an additional training period.

 

 

PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS


Service installation requests grow by 40% during the summer period due to the July 1 st moving deadline in Quebec, almost the same growth is also experienced during the holiday season.

 

To fulfill our needs in human resources during those precise periods of the year, we have implemented a recruitment program aimed at collegial and university level students. The program allows Quebec students to combine both work and studies while acquiring a valuable work experience that will serve them throughout their careers. We are proud to give them this opportunity to start their success filled careers.    

 

 

 

DIRECT TO THE TECH


We never cease to innovate to improve ourselves. For example, to simplify material distribution, each technician orders the material that he needs directly from the supplier by Internet. The supplier fills plastic bins, specially identified with the technicians' ID number, with the requested material. Then the supplier delivers the plastic bins to technicians throughout 6 different locations 3 times a week.
